Andy..After running rkill, malwarebytes AM, adwcleaner, junkware removal tool, and hitman pro, AVG would still pick up that SppExtComObjHook.dll was a threat every time I started my computer. This file is in C:\Windows\Temp on my PC, so as soon as I start up I go to that folder and can watch that file pop up after a few seconds and then AVG notifies me of it's presence. So I tried something simple and so far it's working...
Let AVG delete the threat, but note where it says the file location is. Go to that folder, open notepad and save a file as "SppExtComObjHook.dll".
After doing that, I restarted my PC and it seems like whatever was creating that file, was unable to do so because the fake one I saved was there instead. No more AVG popup, and hopefully no more whatever threat from SppExtComObjHook.dll.
